As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionThe Reporting Lead will be responsible for leading the performance and reporting team within the PMO function.The role holder will support with review and development of a performance and reporting framework, including development of processes and procedures, systems and controls and reporting templates to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the performance of the project The role holder shall provide leadership in performance and reporting throughout the delivery of project ensuring that the performance and reporting framework is being complied with across the project, including by the Project Delivery Partner and other appointed contractor(s).The role holder will also ensure that reporting deliverables and associated performance analysis are of a high quality, establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPls), overseeing the capture of programme data as well as performance reporting.
The Reporting Lead will also be required to embed a focus on continuous improvement and best practice reporting to drive a high performing programme delivery and the achievement of key success metrics.Lead the performance and reporting team within the PMO functionOversee the development of a performance reporting framework, including the development of processes, procedures, systems, controls and reporting templates to ensure the accurate, transparent and timely reporting of the performance of the projectLead the identification, acquisition and implementation of an appropriate software, where required, for effective, automated and integration reporting that spans all levels of the client project.
The components of the reporting system shall ensure the transparency and accuracy of timelines that have clearly defined objectives and purposeEnsure that there is drill down and summary functionality, timestamped to ensure timeliness of information that span all aspects of project controls and are tailored to meet the reporting needs of the project, its governance requirements etc.Oversee the coordination and management of the progress and performance reports for the client scheme, on a weekly / monthly basis, or as required for meeting client reporting obligationsLead the development and drafting of the performance and reporting requirements for procurement and contract documents for the Core Contracts ensuring the alignment of these across full suite of documents.Ensure that all performance and reporting requirements are communicated to the Contractors to ensure alignment with the project controls frameworkProvide support during the tender evaluation phase of the procurement process, supporting with tender clarifications and evaluation of tender submissions in relation to performance and reportingEnsure the performance reporting system is appropriate throughout the lifecycle of the project and assume responsibility for implementing any necessary changes, providing training to the Project Delivery Partners and other relevant stakeholders in relation to any updates and changesCoordinate and facilitate performance reporting reviews at least monthly and take responsibility for the coordination of these to include delivery partners, in their role as NEC 4 Project Manager.Assist and support in achieving approval of the reporting framework across the governance requirements for the major project and other reporting requirements for relevant external stakeholders (, Irish Government)Oversee the contractors, ensuring that both contractors' reporting is aligned to the reporting frameworkOversee the Project Delivery Partner's reporting on the Contracts, ensuring that this is aligned to the reporting frameworkProvide an independent, objective view of performance and reporting across the various levels of commission governance and other stakeholders as requiredCollaborate with the wider PMO, Directorates and Project Delivery Partner and contractor(s) leading performance and reporting forums to ensure accuracy of all reporting, validating that it is representative of project status and ensuring that there is a focus on performance improvementIdentify and report performance and reporting risks and issues that should be escalated to the Project Board, and to other governance bodiesQualifications15+ years' experience leading performance and reporting activities for high value infrastructure projects with5+ years' experience working on metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale and complexityFurther demonstrated experience / knowledge of the following is required:Working in a comparable consultancy environment, or with a client or contractor organisationManagement information analysis, presentation and requirementsReporting tools and applications:Microsoft tools (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)Business Intelligence (Bl) tools , Tableau, MS Power BlCost management systems, financial managementIndustry recognised publishing toolsRelevant reporting with substantial experience in data visualisation and analysis techniquesProject controls designDelivering continuous improvement programsPresenting complex technical information to senior managementDeploying resources (organisation/ people)Earned value, schedule analysis, and financial performance analysisExperience gained within safety critical and regulated environments such as metro / rail would be desirable Additional InformationWhat we offer you:Full timeHybrid working Competitive remuneration and attractive range of benefitsPension27 days Annual leave (+ 2 company days)Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projectsCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globallyOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleaguesAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
