Applications are invited for a Temporary (3 year) post of a Research Coordinator within UCD Sutherland School of Law.
Applications are invited for a Research Coordinator and Administrator position on a part-time basis (0.8 FTE) for a fixed term period of 3 years, with a possible extension.
The position supports two projects within the UCD Sutherland School of Law (two days per week on each project).
Project 1 is an ERC Consolidator Grant led by Professor Aisling Swaine (Principal Investigator).
The 'GENCOERCTRL project' is a qualitative study focused on women's experiences of armed group violence and responses by transitional justice processes.
The role will provide research coordination and support to ensure the effective delivery of the project, alongside the Principal Investigator Professor Aisling Swaine and team of researchers.
Project 2 relates to a set of activities broadly in the field of global migration and refugee law led by Professor Cathryn Costello, with the aim of developing UCD as a centre of excellence in this field.
The role will provide key support for research projects, events and networking both within and outside UCD in this field.
The Research Coordinator and Administrator will manage both projects, following a project management approach including clear structures, workflows, planning milestones, progress assessment, and all tasks related to financial and narrative oversight and reporting.
They will deal with all administrative matters relating to both projects, team-members and external collaborators.
This will include dealing with external vendors, file and data management systems, reporting and meeting schedules, GDPR compliance and other daily administrative tasks.
Fixed Salary: €41,000 Per Annum Pro Rata @ 0.8FTE per annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
