Restaurant Manager - Galway City This is a full-time, permanent role managing a new restaurant opening in Eyre Square, Galway.
The ideal candidate will have: 5 years of hospitality management experience Culinary knowledge and a wide appreciation of food processes would be beneficial Experience managing both front-of-house and back-of-house teams Ability to inspire and motivate staff as well as create and develop new ways to mentor the team Ability to multi-task Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Basic Role Requirements (to name but a few!)
Oversee the dining area, and supervise food and beverage service staff following operating policies that the company has in place Creates a positive team atmosphere among Team Members Works with food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures Handle guest complaints in restaurants and ensure issues are resolved Priorities tasks effectively to ensure most important tasks are completed on time Proficiency in POS software This outgoing and highly motivated individual should be business-minded, lead by example, have a keen eye for detail, possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and have a real passion and drive for hospitality.
