Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Restuarant Manager will have responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the food & beverage service in our Restuarant covering our breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
This position will also be responsible for the leadership and training of the Food & Beverage Supervisors & Assistants.
People Management & Training To communicate effectively with your team members, promoting good working relationships and creating a positive working environment and culture. Responsible for assessing staffing requirements and completing the rosters adequately and fairly to ensure we are appropriately staffed to meet all operational and guest requirements To deliver training to team members to ensure they are aware of the standard operating procedures and ensure they can deliver 5-star service Maintain and build a close working relationship with the Head Chef and his team at all times Guest Experience Anticipate guests needs in order to enhance quality service and in turn enhance client experience Ensure you are up to date on the daily menus and wine offerings to ensure you can make suitable recommendations and answer any guest questions and queries Keep up to date on new regulations, trends and practices to enhance the experience of the guest Handle guest's complaints discretely, notifying the Food & Beverage Manager where required. Food & Beverage Operations Overall responsibility of ensuring excellent service and smooth running of the restaurant service for breakfast, lunch and dinner Ensure the restaurant is set (assist where required) and the appropriate plates/crockery etc are available and polished Make sure all menus and wine lists are up to date, in good order and priced correctly showing the correct grammar and presentation. Plan, organise, control and review all service and systems to provide the best possible service to guests. Train other staff member's knowledge on food, cheese & wine pairings. To work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager in achieving required targets. To attend daily operational meetings and conduct daily team briefings with your team members
