About the roleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Retail Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting, planning and executing strategies to increase revenue. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze trends and forecast demand.
What you'll do?? Develop and implement sales plans based on sales forecasts and historical data.
? Analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
? Conduct regular reviews of client performance to identify opportunities or risks to sales plans.
? Support the VP Of Revenue and Account Managers with weekly performance reviews.
? Develop and maintain reports to assist decision-making.
? Monitor core stock usage and recommend replenishment orders.
? Work closely with the account management team to achieve sales targets and to build solutions for client needs.
? Monitor and adjust pricing strategies to optimize margins and meet client needs.
? Prepare client QBRs to review quarterly performance and plan for the next quarter.
? Collaborate across departments to enhance gift operations processes for &Open's continued expansion.
? Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies.
What you'll need? Proven experience in merchandising or business analysis preferably in a similar industry.
? Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
? High level of proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
? Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
? Knowledge of retail math and financial metrics.
