Job Description Position: Retail Operations Manager Type of Role: Fulltime Permanent (40 hours per week) Location: Carlow with travel to other sites Salary: DOE Our client, named National Retailer of year by Retail Excellence Ireland, are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who is organized, skilled in developing and implementing sales strategies, has strong leadership abilities to manage a large team across multiple locations, and is passionate about enhancing the customer experience.
Being a part of the senior management team and reporting directly to the CEO, this position plays a pivotal role in driving growth and success by delivering an exceptional in-store and online experience.
Key Responsibilities: Contribute to annual budgeting and manage areas within the P&L Implement pricing policies, sales promotions, and oversee loss prevention Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards and store policies Oversee staff deployment, building maintenance, and facility management Enhance customer experience through events and loyalty programs Collaborate with Warehouse, EPOS, Finance, and Marketing teams Lead, coach, and develop managers, supporting recruitment and training Monitor sales performance, margins, and stock turnover Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant store environment Key Tasks: Report quarterly on commercial performance and action plans Maintain optimal staffing for customer service and operational budgets Analyze KPIs with managers and drive performance improvements Foster a positive, collaborative work environment Provide weekly performance updates to Directors If you are someone who loves retail, communicates effectively, can inspire those around you, enjoys problem-solving, and ideally has experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to hear from you!
