Flexsource are currently seeking a Store Manager for our Client based in Westside Business Park Co.Waterford The role of the Retail Store Manager is to to coach and develop store teams through strong leadership, to ensure delivery of retail objectives. Key Accountabilities To deliver store sales within budget, by leading a resourced, motivated and engaged teamTo ensure that the retail strategy developments are implemented in the Store and fully communicated to and understood by the teamTo fully understand commercial performance, driving sales and maximising margins and profits.Achievement of objectives, sales targets & budgetsReporting on delivery of sales targets and activitiesResponsibility for Health & Safety on site ensuring all Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times in line with statutory legislation and Company policy.Addressing any safety concerns as they arise.Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Head of Retail & head of marketing to ensure marketing strategies and understood and being metEnsure store fully resourced to ensure levels of customer service are maintained and targets achievedDeliver effective succession plans throughout the team in order to deliver progression and manage vacancies in the storeDevelop the team through proactive personal development plans which are formally reviewed annually and informally on an ongoing basis as and when requiredConduct exit interviews at Store level for all leavers to identify key areas of riskThrough coaching and leadership ensure that the mission statement, values, business objectives and retail objectives are understood and fulfilled in the StoreTalk to customers directly to gain an understanding of their experience, product requests, technical and colour requirements etcMonitor and drive the delivery of Customer experience in store always leading by exampleUtilise space management effective seasonal and product marketing and initiativesDevelop and maintain strong awareness of the local market and our competitors and exploit opportunitiesBuild relationships to identify and grow local opportunitiesSkills / Experience Required Excellent people managementUp to 5+ years' experience working in a similar roleIT skills are required, along with the ability to learn new systemsStrong written and oral communication skills are requiredMust be prepared to work as part of a team and assist or carry out other duties during periods of high workload, sickness, holidays and emergenciesUndertake any other duties as requested by the Head of Retail/Senior Management.
