The Role / Location Savills Retail Agency Department are the leading advisers on retail property in the Irish market.
We handle the leasing, sale and acquisition of retail and commercial property, acting for a range of clients from the biggest retail Landlords to international retail & F&B Tenants.
This role will be based in the Savills Dublin office.
The successful candidate will form a key part of the Team, helping us to improve the service we provide to our clients.
The role will also involve interaction with the wider Savills network, including departments in Dublin such as Investments, Professional Services, Property Management, etc, as well as the international Savills retail network.
Key Responsibilities · Working alongside Directors on the largest shopping centres in the market; assisting in developing leasing strategies, advising on ERVs and likely deals terms, handling leasing deals in the Centres, and regularly engaging with clients.· Handling the leasing of prime high street retail buildings; co-ordinating the leasing strategy, managing the marketing campaign, managing viewings, and negotiating deal terms.
· Developing and executing acquisition strategies for our Tenant clients and negotiating deals for new sites across the country.
· Working on the freehold sale/acquisition of high street retail / commercial buildings· Regular interaction with our L&T colleagues, discussing values and strategies regarding lease events.· Keep abreast of market trends; develop and maintain knowledge of the key Landlord and Tenants in the market.· Develop and maintain good relationships with other retail agents and retailers in the Irish and UK markets.
· Aim to grow within the team and within Savills, with a focus on fee generation and business development.
· Assist the department initiatives to improve client service and department productivity.· At times, attend the retail industry conferences in the UK and further afield.· Help to identify and develop cross-departmental fee-generation opportunities.· Participate in pitches and business development presentations.· Develop opportunities to engage with Savills European & Global Retail agency colleagues.
· Observe internal processes and procedures ensuring accurate reporting and correct compliance.· Ensure all instructions are conducted in accordance best practice and meet all statutory requirements i.e.
AML, KYC, BER, PSRA documentation.

Confident at negotiating by email and letter.
Adept at excel, and PowerPoint, and comfortable with writing strategy documents or reports.
· Assisting in coaching graduates to ensure they develop their careers.· Ability to identify and generate new instructions through existing and new clients and contacts.
