What You Will Do: Lead Operations: Oversee the daily operation of the reservations office, managing accommodation and restaurant reservations while supporting other departments.
Drive Revenue: Achieve accommodation and total revenue targets, tracking and converting enquiries into sales.
Handle Enquiries: Manage the enquiry handling system from initial contact to contract handover, ensuring professional and timely responses.
Maximize Sales: Ensure all up-selling opportunities are exploited and dining/spa bookings are confirmed for guests.
Collaborate: Work with the sales department to generate new business leads and deliver client agreements.
Manage Team: Produce departmental rotas, approve holidays, arrange training, and ensure all tasks are completed daily.
Ensure Efficiency: Maintain management information systems, attend training sessions, and take on special projects as directed.
Who You Are: Proactive Leader: Driven to meet and exceed targets, with 3-5 years of experience in reservations and/or yield management in the hotel sector in Ireland.
Outgoing Personality: Able to build strong relationships with team members, heads of departments, and clients.
Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent time management and organization abilities.
Customer-Focused: High standards of customer care with good problem-solving skills.
Self-Motivated: Eager to succeed in a challenging environment, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Flexible: Fluent in English and willing to work flexible hours.
Qualified: Must have full working rights in Ireland.
