Job Overview As a Revit Technician, you will play a key role in producing detailed design drawings and BIM models for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other technicians to ensure project deliverables are completed to the highest standards and within project timelines. This is an ideal position for someone with over four years of experience using Revit, who is looking to further develop their skills on large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and prepare detailed Revit models and technical drawings for civil and structural engineering projects. Collaborate with engineers and design teams to translate conceptual designs into fully coordinated and detailed BIM models. Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications in all design outputs. Participate in project meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth integration of design elements. Support the BIM management process, ensuring effective data exchange and model coordination across all project stakeholders. Manage and maintain BIM model data, ensuring updates and changes are documented and integrated into the overall design. Conduct clash detection and provide input on resolving design conflicts to improve the efficiency of the construction process. Assist with site inspections and monitor the application of Revit-based designs during construction stages. Required Qualifications & Experience A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Revit Technician, working on civil or structural engineering projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with a strong understanding of BIM methodologies and principles. Experience in preparing detailed construction drawings and models, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with other design tools and software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 is a plus. Strong knowledge of building regulations, standards, and codes. Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate design ideas clearly. Strong time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Desirable Skills Experience working on large-scale or international projects. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and building performance analysis.
