Risk And Compliance Executive

Our Client, a law firm based in Dublin 2, requires a Risk and Compliance Executive to join their Risk and Compliance team. A candidate from a Legal background is preferred but not essential. This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the development and management of an internal risk function at the firm, managing client onboarding to ongoing risk management.
Salary: to €55K DOE

Duties: Maintaining AML records for both new and existing clients.Managing queries from across the firm and escalating when appropriate.Using technology to help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Risk and Compliance operations, monitoring and training throughout the firm.Assist with the preparation of legal documents and reports.Help monitor risk and legal sector developments which may include new legislation and training offerings to ensure the team is kept up to date.Assist with case management and projects from time to time.Experience Required: BA/Diploma in Law, Business, Finance or related subject.3 years+ AML experience in a similar position.Previous experience working in professional services is a plus.Strong knowledge of compliance and regulation in Ireland.Good knowledge of the Criminal Justice Act 2010 and Companies Act 2014.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team.If this Risk and Compliance Executive role sounds like YOU, call Cormac on 01 845 4651!
