Risk And Controls Officer

We are partnering with a global financial institution to hire 2 risk and controls for day-rate contracts, focusing on various risk and control projects.As a Risk and control officer, you will work in the market operations team and be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive process to proactively identify and reduce operational risk whilst operating as the point of contact for markets operations staff for control related activities Candidates must have the following qualifications and experience: 5+ years' experience in financial markets Knowledge and experience focused on risk and controls Willingness to question/challenge existing processes and ensure a satisfactory outcome Teamwork skills in working with diverse group of people across regions Ability to work under pressure managing tight deadlines and/or unexpected changes Excellent communication and relationship skills across all management levels Analytical with great attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Multiple positions are available, so if you meet most of the criteria, please reach out.
This hybrid role requires three days of office work in Belfast.
