Risk & Compliance Solicitor (Part-Time)

Lex Consultancy is excited to partner with a leading law firm based in Dublin 2, in the search for an experienced Risk & Compliance Solicitor to join their well-established team on a part-time basis.
This position will report into the head of the department and will require the successful candidate to be in the office one day a week.
As the Risk & Compliance Solicitor, your duties will include developing the firms knowledge resources, such as precedents and know-how, and provide high-level support to the company's lawyers with complex legal questions.
Key Responsibilities Providing support, education and risk management training for staff to build a strong risk management awareness within the firm Identifying, updating and drafting risk-related policies and key legal documents and templates Reviewing new and pending relevant legislation and guidance notes, and analysing their impact on the firm Liaising with affiliated parties on regulatory matters including professional standards, compliance and ethics Planning, coordinating and overseeing all risk management committee meetings and projects Handling all risk related queries that arise within the firm Key skills and Requirements Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years of relevant experience in a professional services Strong organisational and interpersonal skills Previous relevant experience in a similar role An understanding of the PII regulations is advantageous If you meet the above criteria and are interested in hearing more about this role please submit your CV for consideration to Joy Russell today.
