The Banking & International Risk (BIR) Business Management team is a newly formed group within BIR's Chief Administrative Office (CAO), with a mandate to support BIR groups globally.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with a highly dynamic role, in an environment where priorities change regularly depending on BIR's requirements and needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team in development, with a mandate to expand support coverage across the 1,400 employee BIR organisation.
What you'll do: Promoting interconnectivity across teams: liaising with multiple stakeholders e.g. Enterprise Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Controls & Governance teams, 1st Line of Defence (LoD) teams to support BIR groups in a consistent and coordinated manner.Issues management: active guidance in raising and structuring Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), issue remediation, monitoring, closure, and escalation of issue performance.Coordination and managing of exams and information requests for external (e.g. regulatory) and internal (e.g. Internal Audit, Cobra) requests.Project management and implementation of BIR-wide initiatives.Strategic projects: simplify and improve, and driving best practices across BIR.Acting as an agile resource: support BIR with priorities as required.What we'll need from you: Strong sole-contributor, self-starter and pro-active approach.Ability to manage a dynamic workload and to prioritise is essential.Good experience in communicating and influencing across all levels of the organisation, including with senior management.Project management – strong ability to plan, lead, monitor and execute projects.Confident presentation skills – e.g. structuring process reviews and proposals via PowerPoint, with articulate and persuasive delivery.Attention to detail – ability to understand and explain complex credit processes.Experience working in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:1st or 2nd Line Credit Risk.Internal Audit, issues management, or controls and governance.Policy, procedures, and process.By joining Citi Dublin, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days working at home per week), but also receive a competitive base salary (which is annually reviewed) and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits that support you (and your family) to be well, live well and save well.
