Job Description: Roe & Coe Brand Ambassador Dublin, Roe & Coe Visitor Centre Fixed Term Contract until April 20, 2025 Closing Date – October 22, 2024 About Us In January 2017 Diageo announced a move to enter the Irish whiskey market with the launch of Roe and Co Premium Blended Irish whiskey. The Urban Distillery aims to create lifelong advocates in the visitors who join us at our Home in Dublin 8. A successful candidate will welcome guests and showcase the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and exploration that lays at the core of Roe & Co Irish Whiskey.
About the Role The role of a Roe & Co Distillery Ambassador is to generate advocacy for the Brand and Brand Home by delivering incredible guest experiences in a high-end service environment. This includes guiding guests through our distillery experiences, boutique retail offerings, and Food & Beverage programmes, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Roe & Co Distillery Ambassadors will report into the Operations and Assistant Operations Experience Managers and engage with public guests, media, and industry professionals. Flexibility with work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, is required.
About the Environment The role will primarily be based in the Roe & Co Distillery Experience, connecting with guests and dealing with members of the public, industry professionals, Diageo partners, and stakeholders. The ambassador will focus on retail and admissions, welcoming guests, checking them in for their tour, and managing stock of whiskey, glassware, clothing, and souvenirs.
You will be responsible for: Delivering consistent Brand Messaging and the "Roe & Co story" to guests.Providing high levels of service in food, beverage, and retail areas.Accountability for stock control and cash handling.Maintaining the wellbeing of staff and guests during experiences.To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience in a high-end retail setting, ideally a specialist whiskey/wine shop.A passion for the Whiskey industry and ability to share that passion.Experience with maintaining stock levels and merchandising.Working with Us Join us and expect a competitive and flexible rewards and benefits package, including:
