Part Qualified Accountant / Finalist Accountant required by a fast-growing medium sized Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Waterford City.
The practice has a mix of clients from all types of industries and provides a highly professional, quality, client orientated service to all their clients who operate in variety of industries.
This role will report to the Practice Manager.
Working as part of the Audit & Accounts Team, the overall purpose of this role is to prepare statutory accounts and assist on performing audits for clients.
The Key responsibilities will be: Assisting on various client audits Preparation of statutory accounts on behalf of clients Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis of same VAT and Corporation Tax returns Assisting on training and mentoring junior members of the team Maintaining and building client relationships.
The ideal Candidate Part Qualified/Finalist ACCA or CPA (Must be continuing to complete exams) Min of 2 years relevant experience in an accountancy practice Proficient in accounting systems eg Sage Accounts Production /Relate Software along with strong Excel experience Excellent organisational and communications skills essential Strong attention to detail is essential and non-negotiable to perform this role well.
Excellent communication skills, excellent both oral and written English essential in dealing with clients Must be looking to progress to Qualified Accountant Skills: ACA ACCA CPA AITI Accounts
