Tax Manager required by fast growing Waterford City based chartered accountancy practice.

The overall purpose of the role is to manage tax compliance for clients and to provide a strong tax advice service to all the practice clients Responsibilities of the role will include:- Review and completion of corporation tax and associated returns for all corporate clients Drafting/Review and completion of Income tax & partnership returns for all private clients Calculation of Capital gains tax including research on applicable reliefs and tax planning as Calculation of capital acquisitions tax including research on applicable reliefs and tax planning as arising for private clients Provision of advice in relation to VAT and indirect tax matters including property transactions on an ad hoc basis Advising clients on the benefits of family partnerships Implementation of Growth Shares, Clogged Shares, etc in companies Liaising with Revenue in Relation to compliance audits, phased payment arrangements and any ongoing issues relating to clients Completion of UK income tax, Corporation Tax, VAT and plastic packaging tax returns Completion of Transfer pricing master and local files Application of interest limitation rules and calculation reliefs for clients with foreign corporate owners Calculation and application of research and development tax credits Responsible for PAYE and enhanced reporting requirement queries as they arise Coaching and mentoring trainees on tax compliance Role will suit Qualified Tax Professional.
At least 5 years relevant experience across Corporation tax, income tax and others Strong communication, customer relationship building and leadership skills essential Highly organized and motivated individual required Commercially Focused and good practice development skills.
Familiar in the use of Taxation software for compliance purposes.
