About the role This is a dynamic role for an ambitious and experienced forensic accountant to join our highly successful and growing Forensic & Investigation Services team.
The successful candidate will enjoy challenging, interesting and rewarding work, across a broad range of assignments involving forensic accounting, fraud and conduct investigations and disputes.
Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of investigation and dispute cases.
Supporting the development of case strategies and work plans for various complex matters.
Gathering and critically assessing evidence; liaising with third parties as needed.
Forensically analysing financial information and other relevant evidence.
Preparing high quality written reports and output for formal uses, including legal proceedings.
Maintaining detailed workpapers and well-organised evidence and case files.
Supporting ongoing business development initiatives and managing/building relationships with clients and intermediaries.
Coaching and supporting more junior members of the team.
Contributing to the financial and commercial management of the unit including budgeting/forecasting, and invoicing/debtor management.
About the ideal candidate The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 2-3 years PQE.
Experience in forensic accounting and investigation is essential.
Certification in a relevant field, for example forensic accounting, is desirable.
Demonstrate the capacity to analyse and assimilate large volumes of complex material and quickly identify key issues.
Experience in managing a team while simultaneously delivering multiple assignments to a diverse client-base.
Excellent report writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to foster trusted relationships with our clients and intermediaries, combined with strong commercial acumen and expertise.
A good work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and approach to work, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
