AA Euro Executive Recruitment has been retained by an established Irish owned Engineering Consultants, to recruit a Safety/ PSDP Professional who will work as an integral team member in their team out of either the Limerick or Dublin operations.
This position offers exposure to a broad range of areas within the Healthcare, Residential, Education and other sectors. The employee can choose his/her main office base.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring discharge of the role of PSDP on construction projects Attending client/design and site meetings Preparing preliminary safety and health plans Compiling and preparing safety files Preparing health and safety reports Carrying out site visits Coordination and liaison with all parties involved in a construction project Reviewing the competence of duty holders Inspections and reports on legal cases concerning health and safety Working with contractors PSCS to discharge the role of PSCS on construction projects Requirements:
Minimum academic requirements: a HETAC (Higher Education and Training Awards Council) recognised level 8 degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, and Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Minimum 4 years post graduate experience in the management of PSDP and HSC duties Demonstrate ability to act as a competent PSDP within the meaning of the Safety, Health & Welfare Act 2005 and Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006 Experience in the preparation of Preliminary Safety & Health Plans Experience in acting as the Health & Safety Co-ordinator for the Design Process Full Drivers Licence Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills required Desirable:
