We are recruiting a barista/sales assistant to join the Keelings Farm Shop team where we offer superb speciality coffee, drinks, cakes and pastries, with an emphasis on local and sustainable produce.. To be successful in this role you only need to be enthusiastic about speciality coffee with an eagerness to learn.
Keelings Farm Shop is located in St. Margaret's, Co. Dublin.
As public transport is not available to our location, you must have your own car/transport for travel to and from work.
Responsibilities: Greet customers in a friendly and helpful way and answer any questions they have.
Explain what we offer in terms of drinks and food.
Take orders paying attention to customers' needs and preferences.
Prepare Coffee correctly, consistently and to a high standard.
Process payments efficiently and accurately.
Ensure the bar is always clean and organised following strict 'clean as you go' policy.
Maintain and order stock as required.
Maintain stock records and be vigilant about waste.
Check and report any equipment issues.
Ensure all H&S policies are strictly followed.
Ensure HACCP records and procedures are followed.
Engage with customers and colleagues on new ideas or requests.
Cash up.
Requirements/skills helpful but not essential Experience as a Barista Ability to work under pressure while maintain high standards of service.
Multi-tasking skills.
Ability to maintain station in a clean and organised way.
Very high standard of English is Essential and good communication skills are required.
Flexible in terms of hours, weekend work required.
Problem solving skills.
