IP Telecom, Ireland's leading innovative communications provider is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales and Commercial Team, helping us deliver next-level communications solutions to our growing customer base. The Sales Engineer role assists in pre-and post-sale technical consultancy to internal and external stakeholders. Their responsibilities constantly evolve, contributing value to an organisation by giving expert advice throughout any sales process to positively influence sales and support the transition of the proposition through implementation.
Responsibilities for Sales Engineer
The lead technical resource to IP Telecom's sales staff on new businessThe lead technical resource to IP Telecom's account management team working with existing customers.Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.Collaborate internally to develop joint business plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.Provide technical training and support to internal stakeholders and channel partners to ensure they thoroughly understand our products and services.Monitor technical market trends and competitor propositions to identify potential threats and opportunities for IP Telecom.Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop and execute channel-specific marketing campaigns and promotions.Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies to provide strategic guidance as required.Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products and services.Requirements for Sales Engineer
Five years+ experience in pre-sales or a customer-facing technical role within the enterprise telecoms/technology industry.Strong understanding of Security, Voice, Networks, associated technologies, and best practicesConsiderable experience in enterprise network topology/design and VoIP solutionsKnowledge and experience in Firewalls (Sonicwall desirable)Widespread experience in enterprise connectivity, DIA, Enterprise WiFi, broadband and wireless connectivityExcellent communication skills, be able to coordinate technical responses and give presentations where appropriateAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholdersResults-oriented mindset with a track record of exceeding KPIsHave "design to delivery" ownership of the customer solution.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in Google, Microsoft including Teams functionality (Zoho one desirable)
