Job Overview: We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Sales & Events Administrator to join our dynamic team at BrookLodge & Macreddin Village.
In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless administration of our sales, events, and reservation processes, ensuring every event and booking meets our high standards and provides an exceptional experience for our clients.
The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative skills, experience in the hospitality and events sectors, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Act as a point of contact for clients, including wedding couples, event organisers, and other key stakeholders, from initial inquiries through to post-event follow-up.
Work closely with the sales team, event planners, and operational staff to ensure flawless execution of events.
Oversee logistics and ensure all event details are coordinated and delivered to the highest standards.
Handle all administrative aspects of the Sales & Events department, including maintaining schedules, updating systems, managing documentation, and processing bookings.
Reservation Management: Oversee reservation processes for event spaces, hotel accommodations, and dining requirements.
Ensure all booking details are accurate and up-to-date in the system.
Communicate with clients to confirm their reservation details and provide any necessary support leading up to the event.
Coordinate with internal teams, including operational staff, to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction.
Ensure that all events, from corporate meetings to weddings, meet the quality standards set by BrookLodge & Macreddin Village, delivering exceptional experiences for every client.
Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and track event details, client interactions, and reservation statuses in line with company procedures.
Provide excellent service by addressing client needs, inquiries, and feedback, maintaining a professional and friendly approach at all times.
Qualifications: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the events, hospitality, or reservations industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build relationships with clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management or booking software.
A proactive, friendly, and customer-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service.
Ability to work both midweek and weekend shifts as required.
Knowledge of the internal operations of a hotel, event venue, or reservation system is an advantage.
