SALES MANAGER – FINANCE/MOTOR INDUSTRY My client, a market leader in insurance and assistance products, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow the automotive retail division in Ireland, overseeing a network of motor dealers distributing insurance products.
The Sales Manager will also be responsible for the management of a team of account managers, strategic oversight, and relationship management of OEMs, Finance Companies, and Motor Dealerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and revenue in the automotive retail sector.
Set and monitor sales targets for the dealer network and account management team.
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy.Dealer Network Management:
Support and manage a network of motor dealers to enhance sales performance.
Provide training to dealers on insurance products for compliance and effective selling.
Conduct regular visits to dealers to maintain strong relationships and address business needs.Team Management:
Lead a team of Field Sales Account Managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews.
Ensure team alignment, communication, and collaboration.Relationship Management:
Act as the primary liaison with partners, fostering collaboration and goal alignment.
Develop tailored strategies to address partner needs and drive mutual success.Training & Development:
Design and deliver training programs for dealers, ensuring they are equipped to sell insurance products effectively.Additional Duties:
Undertake other responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating innovation and adaptability.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related fields (or equivalent experience).APA or CIP qualification preferred (or willingness to obtain).Proven sales leadership experience, ideally in the automotive or insurance sectors.Expertise in managing large portfolios and leading high-performing teams.Strong background in relationship management and stakeholder engagement.Experience delivering training programs is advantageous.Proficient in CRM systems, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of automotive and insurance products is a strong advantage.Willingness to travel regularly.Valid driver's license.If you are interested in this position, please hit the 'Apply Now' button or email ****** for more information.
