Based in Dublin, with a satellite workspace in London, we work with global brands to deliver experiential brand campaigns, conferences, trade exhibitions, retail installations, employee award shows, and sponsorship activations.
The RoleThe Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase event bookings and enhance brand visibility. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales, marketing, and the events industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven track record of driving sales growth, and the ability to lead a team.
Key responsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of potential clients.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and enhance brand visibility across multiple channels.Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, using insights to inform sales and marketing strategies.Collaborate with the events team to develop promotional plans for individual events, driving attendance and engagement.Monitor and analyse sales and marketing performance metrics, generating reports to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.Manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracking ROI.Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Identify and manage partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to enhance event visibility and reach.Ideal CandidateMinimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the events industry.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field.Strong strategic planning and project management abilities.Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, Google Analytics, social media advertising, email marketing software).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.Highly organised and detail-oriented.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Passionate about sales and marketing, staying up-to-date with industry trends.Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.Flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions and client needs.In addition to 21 days of annual leave, you will get your birthday off and a duvet day.
