Job Description: Aran Woollen Mills have an exciting, full-time opportunity for a Trade & Marketing Executive.
The role holder will report to the Brand and eCommerce Manager and Sales Marketing Manager.
The purpose of this role is to work with the wider Sales & Marketing team in assisting with key account management, trade marketing tools, campaigns, and events and B2B e-commerce development.
In tandem with this the successful applicant will also provide account management support to accounts in Ireland and undertake significant market research on new market opportunities.
Responsibilities: Support the sales and marketing team in implementing a marketing strategy to grow revenue in line with AWM's overall vision and objectives.
Develop relevant trade marketing tools and grow our international trade customer database with successful customer acquisition techniques.
Support the delivery of marketing plans and campaigns that will strengthen the company's positioning and reputation while building brand awareness and growing sales channels.
Assist in the development, implementation, and management of a new B2B online portal.
Support the Sales team with account management of Irish trade accounts.
Undertake significant market research to develop a clear understanding of new international market opportunities to support the long-term growth of the business.
Support in asset creation, brochures, presentations, and photography for trade marketing.
Assist in the research, discovery, and implementation of international marketplaces such as Amazon and Faire.
Develop trade email marketing campaigns and communications for B2B customers.
Support the Marketing with Trade Shows and explore further international trade show opportunities.
Monthly analysis, measurement, and evaluation of the results of trade marketing activities.
Report on the effectiveness of programs and campaigns including how key revenue metrics are performing against plan.
Develop deeper & more frequent engagement with external partners to uncover opportunities to maximise sales and channel engagement.
Liaise with internal teams across the business on external marketing and development partners.
Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure that all marketing content is managed and executed in an efficient manner.
Monitor industry trends, trade account monitoring and ongoing competitor analysis.
General administration duties to assist in the fast-paced environment of the marketing department.
Ability to follow direction and meet company guidelines.
Skills Required: 2+ years experience in Trade Marketing and Sales or a related role.
Proficiency in developing and utilizing trade marketing tools.
Strong market research skills to identify new international market opportunities.
Ability to follow directions and adhere to company guidelines Professional, friendly & calm manner Strong communication and interpersonal skills Clear communicator and strong organisational skills.
Computer literate General administrative skills to support the fast-paced marketing department environment.
Organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Problem solving to find the best solution for all involved Excellent literacy and strong grammar skills.
Fluent in English (oral and written).
Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
