Key Responsibilities:Partner with Business Analysts to define solutions that meet technical requirements.Contribute to the development of a regulatory reporting application, working on end-to-end platform components.Handle large data aggregations, ensuring seamless functionality.Collaborate with Technology support teams to uphold best practices and high-quality standards.Continuously evaluate and adopt new techniques to improve the platform.Support agile planning sessions, prioritizing features for timely delivery.Offer day-to-day platform support, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving production issues.What You'll Need to Succeed:Essential Experience:Minimum 3 years with ScalaAt least 3 years in software developmentProven experience in implementing RESTful APIs and MicroservicesSkilled with SQL and NoSQL databasesAgile team experience (Scrum or Kanban)Exposure to large, fast-paced project environmentsDesirable Skills:Familiarity with MongoDB, Cassandra, MS SQL ServerFunctional Programming knowledgeExperience with Scala streaming libraries like Akka Streams, ZIO, fs2Jenkins and Ansible expertisePrior work with global teams across time zonesExperience with Atlassian suite (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket)Background in regulatory reporting or capital marketsThis role is ideal for an ambitious Scala Developer looking to make a significant impact in financial technology.
