At ICON Lab and Imaging Solutions (ILI), we are dedicated exclusively to central laboratory testing and associated services for clinical trials. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scientific Affairs Specialist to join our team and play a role in delivering consistent and high-quality scientific support for global clinical studies.
As a Scientific Affairs Specialist, you will use your scientific expertise to research pros and cons of varied diagnostic assay solutions, provide test menu recommendations, investigate data queries and provide recommendations that optimise data quality, and assist in the creation of scientific communications.
What You Will Be Doing: Test menu road map managementMonitor new assay release from diagnostic vendorsMonitor trends in new clinical trial therapeutic areas and associated assays/toolsGenerate objective data that identifies needed test solutions and contribute to establishment of those solutionsManage scientific component of RFI queriesTriage SA queries and perform data investigations that improve clinical trial data qualityAssistance with Marketing activities, including creation of standard SA slides and creation of case studies for abstract/webinar/white paper based on completed studiesYour Profile: Bachelor's or above degree in Medical Technology/ Life Sciences or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of relevant experienceKnowledge of clinical laboratory concepts and terminologyProficiency in MS Word and ExcelGCP CertificationCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to provide timely, confident, reliable, and friendly service to internal and external customersThis position is based at our Dublin office at least three days/weekWhat ICON can offer you:
