Recruiting for: Social Care Workers & Support Workers Separated Children Seeking International Protection - Residential Setting Locations: Louth     Roles & Responsibilities          Promoting the rights and responsibilities of each young person within the service        Participating in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans        Promoting physical, emotional, social, educational, and religious welfare of each young person        Liaising with professionals in relation to the care of young persons        Adhering to policies and procedures        Documentation and report writing Qualifications Social Care Worker: A degree level 7+ on the National Framework of Qualifications in one of the following disciplines:        Social care or Applied Social Studies        Youth and Community        BA(Hons) Youth and Community Development        BA (Hons) Psychology        Addiction Studies        BA (Hons) counselling and Addiction Studies        Disability Diploma (Primary Degree)        Social Science Qualifications Support Worker: QQI relevant qualification - Level 6 Candidates must have:       Ideally a commitment to 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts per week (12 hour per shift)       Client focus, compassion and empathy are essential to the role       Team work as well as flexibility and the ability to work off one's own initiative What we can offer you:       Competitive salary scale based on experience       Extra allowances - Sundays/BHs       Available shift patterns: days (10am - 10pm) & nights (10pm - 10am)   Our positions may be suited to an individual looking to work in a busy environment, supporting young peoples' transition into a new life in Ireland.
