Role: Sea Freight Forwarder
Location: Dublin 9
Terms: Permanent, Full-time, Mon – Friday

We are seeking an organised and proactive Sea Freight Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will manage and oversee the end-to-end process of sea freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics solutions for our clients.
You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless freight services.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of sea freight shipments, from booking to delivery, ensuring that all timelines are adhered to.Customer Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing status updates on shipments.Prepare, review, and process all required documentation for sea freight shipments, including Bills of Lading, customs paperwork, and import/export declarations.Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure smooth handling and transportation of goods.Cost Control: Monitor and negotiate shipping rates, ensuring cost-efficient transportation while maintaining service quality.Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise during the shipment process, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies in documentation.Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in sea freight operations or a related logistics role.Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs processes, and Incoterms.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.High level of accuracy in managing documentation and shipment details.For a confidential discussion on this or any other current opportunity please contact Nicola Murphy on 021 233 9200 / ******
