Sea Freight Operator

This client is looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder or a motivated junior professional eager to grow their career in the freight industry.
Main duties and responsibilities: Processing shipment bookings for Forwarding operationsMonitoring shipments from point of customer booking to arrival at the final destination and customer paymentProviding a high level of customer service to both internal and external customersLiaising with local and international vendors and agents to ensure that the best rates and services are securedLiaising with transport vendors regarding collections or deliveriesProcessing sales and purchases invoices and dealing with any queries relating to customer/creditor invoicesDealing with rate requests and issuing quotationsCustoms Clearance awareness – SAD's, requirements, EtcDevelopment of sea freight servicesAdditional Duties: Assisting with holiday cover within the operations officeProviding administration support to other freight departments when requiredOccasional Customer visitsProjectsCarry out any additional duties which may be assigned from time to timeType:
