Security Operations Manager

An exciting time to lead out the cyber security operations for one of the fastest growing firms in Ireland.
This position is 60/40 blend of people operations and hands on technical capabilities from a strategic growth point of view.
This position will have direct oversight of 60 people and is ideally suited to you if you have previous exposure within a senior leadership position, 7+ years' experience within security function and previous experience within financial services or IT functions.

Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team, ensuring a culture of collaboration and continuous development.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a cybersecurity strategy that aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, engineering, and business teams to embed security best practices across the organization.Incident Management: Oversee the development and execution of incident response plans to ensure effective handling of security events.Technical Oversight: Evaluate, implement, and manage security technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and mitigate risks through regular assessments and audits.Requirements: Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and inspiring teams in a cybersecurity environment.Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to design and execute security strategies that align with organizational objectives.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of security tools, frameworks, and emerging cybersecurity trends.Incident Expertise: Experience managing security incidents and implementing lessons learned for continuous improvement.Compliance Understanding: Knowledge of regulatory standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with certifications like CISSP or CISM highly preferred.If this Opportunity is of interest, click the APPLY button to direct a copy of your application to Lee Monahan at Oliver James for immediate consideration.
