The RoleJoin Our Team as a Senior Account Manager at Neon Are you an experienced leader in live event management, ready to elevate the client experience at Neon? As a Senior Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving high-profile projects and fostering key client relationships, ensuring the seamless delivery of memorable events. We're seeking an individual with exceptional communication skills, advanced project management expertise, and strategic thinking abilities to lead, innovate, and exceed client expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do: Client Leadership and Partnership Building: Act as a primary point of contact for high-profile clients, building trust and long-term partnerships.Proactively address client needs, provide strategic insights, and ensure expectations are consistently met or exceeded.Act as a mentor and guide for junior account managers and account executives, sharing expertise to enhance team performance.Project Ownership and Advanced Strategy: Lead complex, large-scale event projects, including end-to-end management from initial concept to execution.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, with the ability to navigate challenging circumstances and adapt plans accordingly.Collaborate with clients to define strategic goals and event objectives, translating their vision into actionable plans.Innovative Event Development and Thought Leadership: Provide strategic direction to clients, helping them craft events that set trends and capture their brand essence.Champion innovation by staying ahead of industry developments, leading brainstorming sessions, and fostering a culture of creativity.Present strategic ideas and event concepts confidently to both clients and internal teams.Financial Oversight and Strategic Resource Allocation: Oversee and manage substantial event budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources while adhering to financial objectives.Negotiate effectively with high-level vendors and partners, maximizing quality and value within financial constraints.Regularly report project financials, offering transparent insights to clients and senior management.Post-Event Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Lead detailed post-event evaluations, analysing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.Compile in-depth post-event reports, offering insights on successes and strategic recommendations for future projects.What We're Looking For: Leadership and Influence: Proven ability to lead client accounts, influence stakeholders, and mentor team members effectively.Advanced Communication and Relationship Management Skills: Exceptional at navigating complex client relationships and ensuring alignment between client goals and project delivery.Senior-Level Project Management Expertise: Skilled in managing multiple high-stakes projects, prioritizing effectively, and ensuring efficient execution in a fast-paced environment.Strategic and Innovative Thinking: Ability to think strategically, devise creative solutions, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge event concepts.Financial Savvy and Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in managing substantial budgets, forecasting costs, and negotiating contracts with top-tier vendors.Problem Solving and Resilience: Experience in troubleshooting complex challenges with composure and agility, ensuring seamless event execution under pressure.Collaborative Team Player: Strong collaborative skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, working cohesively with internal departments and external partners.Passion for Excellence in Events: A deep commitment to delivering remarkable experiences that exceed expectations and set industry benchmarks.Ideal CandidateThe Ideal Candidate Will Have: 5-7 years of experience in event management or account management in a senior role, with a track record of delivering impactful events and managing complex client relationships.Ready to elevate your career and shape unforgettable event experiences with Neon?
