Role will be responsible for the implementation of robust policies & procedures across the department & management of the small accounts team. Duties will include: Responsible for the full preparation of group monthly accountsManage inter-company, ensuring adherence to regulatory & compliance requirementsImplement robust financial processes and policies & provide training to junior staffInvolved in group budgeting & forecasting alongside senior managementResponsible for the ongoing management and development of the finance team as the business growsEnsuring compliance with all Taxation and Statutory obligationsAct as the point of contact for external auditors and manage the year end audit processAd hoc duties and projects as requiredCandidate Profile Ideal candidate will have a number of years' experience working within industry possessing detailed knowledge of accounting processes. Role will suit an ambitious candidate who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business yet also in a 'hands on' role within the finance team. Candidate should be a qualified accountant, with proficient IT and inter-personal skills and a pro-active "can do" attitude. Working experience within a fast paced service, construction or engineering environment would be a distinct advantage.
