Senior Accountant Our client, a recent US multinational start-up in the high-tech manufacturing sector, is undergoing a period of expansion across their global client base and has engaged with us in Cpl to hire a Senior Accountant to be based in their Shannon site.

The Job: As a key part of the global finance team and reporting directly to the FC, your duties will be focused on a broad mix of both strategic and hands-on accounting duties for entities in Ireland and across the world, as well as partnering with the operations management teams.
More specifically, this will include taking ownership of the monthly accounts close processes, managing stock/inventory reporting, resolving accounting queries, SOX and audit compliance, maintaining fixed asset registers, controlling budgets, and managing projects across the site including capital and investment initiatives. In addition, you will also support the preparation of multi-annual financial strategies, provide guidance to operations managers, act as a key voice for the Shannon entity on global finance meetings, and work closely with the FC to deliver on corporate KPIs.
Your Skills/Experience that we need: 3rd level degree qualified.Fully qualified accountant.3-4+ years industry experience ideally gained in a multinational manufacturing environment.Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE, Oracle) would be an advantage.Proven ability to work on your own initiative and manage projects.The Offer: This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary, benefits, and overall package flexible depending on candidate qualifications and career experience but expected to range to approximately 75-90k. In addition, there will be an excellent benefits package including pension and healthcare contributions, annual bonus, educational assistance, and other supports.
This role will be a hybrid mix of 2-3 days in the office in Shannon with the balance working from home/remote.
