Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant (Audit Focus) Location: Co. Kildare (Hybrid) Job Overview: A leading accountancy practice in Co. Kildare, is seeking a qualified accountant with strong audit experience to join their team.
This firm specializes in supporting small and medium-sized businesses with accounting, auditing, taxation, business advisory, and succession planning services.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing client portfolios and handling audits from start to finish, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all stages of external audits, from planning to completion Handle a portfolio of clients with various accounting and tax needs Prepare SME financial statements (FRS102/1A and 105) Ensure compliance with company law and prepare CRO returns, particularly annual returns Provide tax support across CT, IT, CGT, VAT, and RCT Maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues Use and learn various accounting software in a digital working environment Qualifications & Experience: ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years of practice and audit experience Strong knowledge of SME financial statement preparation and company law Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Experience in managing client relationships and working within a team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Benefits: Flexible working arrangement (4 or 5 days per week) Hybrid working option Competitive salary based on experience Start Date: October 2024 This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a dynamic and growing practice.
