The Expertise We're Looking For A part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with knowledge of accounting standards including IFRS and US GAAPFamiliarity with IFRS financial statements1 year of relevant accounting experience preferredDetail-oriented with proven understanding of business and financial concepts and accountingAbility to work on multiple areas/projects concurrently and meet tight deadlinesStrong written/verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and various groupsExperience with, or demonstrated ability to learn, complex financial systems and multi-dimensional reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, Essbase, OBI, Power BI)The Purpose of Your Role As a member of the team, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the books and records of the legal entities supported by the group are prepared accurately on a monthly and quarterly basis in the general ledger. You will be responsible for recurring journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly balance sheet and P&L analysis that is presented to business partners.
This position will have an opportunity to interact directly with various business partners as well as the firm's external auditors. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage several priorities and demonstrate flexibility will be essential. This position will be responsible for projects of varying scope and complexity.
