Senior Accountant - Portlaoise Office Based

My client, a small practice with over 25 years in the Irish market based in Portlaoise is looking for a Senior Practice Accountant to join their team.
They advice small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across a diverse range of industries.
As a Senior Practice Accountant Some of your responsibilities will include: Accounts preparation for sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies to review stage/sign off with Principal.
· Managing a portfolio of VAT clients-Preparation of Bimonthly/Quarterly and Biannual VAT 3 and VAT RTD returns.
· Completion of Weekly and Monthly Payroll function for numerous clients.
· Tax research and report production for specific client queries.
· Managing and reviewing CRO and Revenue database deadline listings.
· Managing AML and due diligence risk assessment for the practice.
Requirements: · Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA) with 5 years minimum experience in a small accounting practice setting essential.
· Previous Collsoft/Sage software experience desirable.
· A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple clients' needs effectively and meet hard deadlines.
