Role Summary:The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their applications in finance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify operational opportunities for AI integration, enhancing efficiency and driving innovation within our organization. You will also be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of existing systems and processes to recommend AI-based solutions tailored to our business needs. Your expertise in data analysis and machine learning models will be essential in developing predictive analytics that can improve decision-making and risk management. Furthermore, as an AI consultant, you will lead workshops and training sessions for our in-house teams, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to leverage AI tools competently. You will also monitor industry trends and advancements in AI technologies to propose continuous improvements and strategic insights that keep us competitively positioned within the financial marketplace.
ResponsibilitiesLead AI maturity assessments for financial services organizations, identifying gaps and opportunities for AI implementation.Collaborate with senior management to develop AI strategies that align with corporate objectives, including automation, risk management, and customer engagement.Advise clients on industry best practices, emerging AI technologies, and regulatory considerations specific to the financial services sector (e.g., Know Your Customer (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML), fraud prevention and detection).Design, prototype, and deploy AI models and algorithms (e.g., credit scoring, predictive analytics, algorithmic trading) that can scale to handle large financial datasets.Partner with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI solutions with legacy systems while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and cybersecurity standards.Optimize models to enhance accuracy, reduce bias, and ensure ethical AI use in financial decision-making.Act as the primary AI subject matter expert for clients, providing strategic advice and updates on AI technologies and trends that impact financial services.Manage AI project lifecycles, from requirements gathering to solution deployment, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., risk, compliance, IT) to ensure seamless delivery of AI-driven projects.Implement AI-driven solutions to automate data processing tasks (e.g., customer onboarding, document verification) and enhance operational efficiency.Use AI tools to support advanced financial forecasting and scenario analysis, improving data-driven decision-making for clients.Ensure AI models are designed and deployed in compliance with financial industry regulations (e.g., Basel III, EU AIA, GDPR, PSD2).Work with compliance teams to mitigate risks related to AI implementation, such as model bias, data breaches, and algorithmic discrimination.Stay updated on emerging AI and machine learning trends, particularly within the financial services domain.RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience as an AI consultant or data scientist in the financial services industry, preferably working with banks, insurance companies, or asset management firms.Strong understanding of machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis techniques.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data security.Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.Familiarity with data visualization tools and platforms.Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills.Demonstrable experience in creating AI-driven solutions to optimize customer engagement, improve operational efficiency, and mitigate risk in financial settings.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.About NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
