As Senior Architect, you will be based in Waterford for an architectural firm which has built an excellent reputation for their work on a range of projects.
They are a household name in Ireland, known for their expertise in design, master-planning, project management, and sustainability.
They provide services to a variety of sectors including high-rise residential buildings, large industrial clients for office buildings and industrial extensions, as well as universities and healthcare.
Your New Role As a Senior Architect, you will be primarily the client contact throughout all stages of the construction process: design, tenders, planning, and construction, specifically for the Healthcare & Education sector.
This role will give you autonomy to run the project and manage your time, making a refreshing change from micromanagement that some practices can provide!
There will be full BIM implementation on projects, so you should be familiar with and show competency in the software.
There will be plenty of technical challenges for you to overcome, but ultimately rewarding at completion when you see the finished product.
You will be working with an experienced team of architects and technologists in a real collaborative atmosphere with a passion for projects.
Job Requirements For this role, you should be a registered architect and be comfortable leading projects in a senior capacity.
You should show competency using Revit 3D software, producing models and detailing.
Knowledge of BIM and working with other consultancies and contractors to revise changes and make modifications would be great experience to display.
If you have healthcare and education experience, this will be a distinct advantage.
This is a senior role in the team, so you will be given a level of duty to be client-facing and look after team members.
