As an Architectural Technologist, you will be joining an architectural practice based in Dublin that, due to growth in project pipeline, is now seeking to add to their team of Architects and Technologists. This practice has a strong team with a variety of experience, with the directors taking a hands-on approach to live projects and working closely with the remainder of the team to deliver to the highest quality.
Your New Role As an Architectural Technologist, you will be coming in at an intermediate/senior level. There will be plenty of support, but the role has added autonomy for the level you will be joining at. Your role will focus on producing technical details on drawings, creating planning applications, and understanding the building regulations applicable to the project to ensure an efficient transition from design stage to build. You should have strong technical knowledge when creating tender packages and submitting DAC and fire certificates. The role offers a collaborative work environment and a focus on CPD training to ensure you are up to date on all current construction methodologies. Overall, this role offers a refreshing environment that will give you autonomy but also any help you need to grow and thrive in your career.
Job Requirements For this role, you should hold a degree in Architectural Technology with 5 years or more of Irish project experience in an architectural practice. You should have a strong ability using Revit, as this role will develop into you hopefully being the BIM Lead should you show aptitude and desire. You should be able to display your technical knowledge, detailing, and expertise on DAC and fire certificates, where this role will focus.
Our client is based in South Dublin, with ease of transport for commuting and plenty of access points via bus or other forms. They will support your education and development in your career. There is a great work environment with friendly directors and associates to assist when needed. Salary is negotiable but will be competitive depending on the level of experience you bring to the team. This is a great chance to learn a lot being in a small-sized practice with more opportunities for growth and development, and given far more remit than in larger practices.
