As Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be based in Dublin for an architectural firm which has built an excellent reputation for their work on a range of projects.
They are a household name in Ireland, known for their expertise in design, master-planning, project management, and sustainability.
They provide services to a variety of sectors including high-rise residential buildings, large industrial clients for office buildings and industrial extensions, as well as universities and healthcare.
Your New Role As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be primarily involved in the technical planning and detailing of large projects specifically for the Healthcare and Education sectors.
This role will give you autonomy to run the project and manage your time, making a refreshing change from micromanagement that some practices can provide!
There will be full BIM implementation on projects, so you should be familiar with and show competency in the software.
You will face plenty of technical challenges to overcome, but ultimately it will be rewarding upon completion when you see the finished product.
You will be working with an experienced team of architects and technologists in a collaborative atmosphere with a passion for projects.
Job Requirements For this role, you should have an architectural degree in Architectural Technology and have 10 years of experience in a practice or contractor design-related discipline.
You should demonstrate competency using Revit 3D software, producing models and detailing.
Knowledge of BIM and experience working with other consultancies and contractors to revise changes and make modifications would be advantageous.
If you have healthcare or education experience, this will be a distinct advantage, but profiles are being considered for candidates with large-scale residential or commercial experience.
This is a senior role in the team, so you will have a level of duty to be client-facing and look after team members.
