About the role An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Automation Test Analyst to join our Information Systems department. In the role, the successful candidate will:
Define and redefine the acceptance criteria for each User Story and create relevant automated test cases and BDD scenarios.Create and implement an automation framework.Automate performance, integration, load testing, REST, and black/white box testing.Utilize scripting or programming languages such as Python and Java.Possess good working knowledge of Linux/Unix.Identify new automated solutions.Track and manage the resolution of issues generated during testing.Provide timely status and project updates to the test team and business stakeholders.Handle multiple projects simultaneously.Interrogate the underlying databases to extract test data and execute SQL statements to prove test results.Use tools such as JIRA, Test Rail, JMeter, SQL, Selenium, and RFT.About you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
Minimum 5 years' experience in structured financial testing.Experience in using a variety of testing frameworks such as Rest Assured and Selenium.Version control experience such as GIT.Experience in testing financial or stockbroking systems is essential.Confident self-starter who works on own initiative without supervision.Experience using various testing tools and completing POCs (Proof of Concepts).Strong SQL knowledge is essential for this role.Good communication skills and ability to liaise with key stakeholders.ISTQB Certification is an advantage; IT Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.What we offer We offer a range of benefits and experiences to support your professional and personal growth, whatever your career stage.
