Senior AWS Data Engineer – Progress to Lead Technology focused company starting new data engineering function AWS Technologies Greenfield Projects Senior BI & Data Engineer opportunity with a company developing their team to implement new technology into an incremental stage of change, creating the data pipelines, databases and implementing business intelligence tools.

The intent of this hire will be to progress into a squad lead role with line management responsibilities. You will initially join as a hands-on developer/architect focusing on their new applications using AWS technologies.

The data technology will all be cloud-based (on AWS). The tech stack will include AWS Athena, Lambdas, Glue, S3, etc. As part of a team, your role will be varied with a high degree of autonomy and ownership of designing and building solutions. As the organisation evolves in data maturity, they will look to adopt new technologies.

Role/ Opportunity Senior BI & Data Engineer Greenfield Projects Data Pipeline development/ Datawarehouse/ Data Visualization/ AWS / Glue/ Athena, Lambdas, CICD, Python AWS Redshift or Similar (e.g., Snowflake) Dublin City Center (Hybrid working) Varied, diverse role which will evolve to management. Experience: 6+ years' experience in Data Engineering SQL and Python or Java skills Experience building data pipelines, databases along with architecture AWS Redshift or Similar Experience in AWS technologies such as Glue, Athena, S3, Lambdas, Step Functions. This opportunity requires an Irish/EU passport or Stamp 4 Visa.
