J.B.Barry and Partners currently require a Junior CAD Technician who has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be a vital part of the team and will be helping contribute to the continued growth of J.B.Barry and Partners.

The person will be responsible to produce drawings or models using Autodesk software. This role will require working with and for the relevant Senior Engineers and design engineers to complete any stage of a project for the department the person is assigned.
ResponsibilitiesProductions of detailed drawings and models on project at every stage of designCompliance with Company CAD StandardsCompliance with Company BIM systemsPrinting books of drawingsKeeping up to date with drawing software upgrades via inhouse/external CPDCommunicating frequently and effectively with the design teamAbility to manage multiple project drawing requirementsSupport to Design TeamFormatting drawings to individual project requirementsWorking for and aiding different departments on projects if requiredFilling in timesheets weekly and correctly on coretimeProfileEssential knowledge of drawing software tools – Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks
Experience of using the following Autodesk Civil 3D tools:
3D Surveys and creating surfaces3D Pipe NetworksAlignments - Automated Plan & sectionsBIM and CAD Standards
Working knowledge of the principles of Waste and Water Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations and pipe networks or road design
