This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Chef to join our Catering Team.
  Job Details: Permanent contract Full-Time Role Competitive rates of pay Training / Career Progression as part of expanding group   Duties Include (but are not limited to): Creative food preparation Ensure that the highest standard of food quality, nutrition, presentation and service are achieved and maintained at all times Ensure regular monitoring of menus for variety and cost and to provide innovative ideas for menu planning Tailoring recipes and menus for modified diets The performance of any reasonable task which assists with the efficient operation of the catering function within the nursing home   Desired Skills: A passion for service and quality Good people management skills Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative Responsibility of stock management Professionalism and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business Hands-on operator with the ability to lead by example through operational excellence An excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP   Qualification / Experience: Degree or Qualification in: Food Production / Culinary Arts and / or operational experience in: Working in a Nursing Home or Healthcare Environment is preferable


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
