AtkinsRéalis is one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.
We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to work in our dynamic civil infrastructure design team based in our Galway or Cork Office. The successful candidate will work in a structural team within a multidiscipline office and shall work on varied projects. Our current workload in building and site development projects includes the Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Housing, and Education Sectors for both public and private clients. The successful candidate should be chartered or near chartered and have experience in leading civil engineering design projects.
Responsibilities: Lead civil engineering design projects.Drainage and utilities design.Manage project delivery and design teams.Project management experience.Communicate effectively and manage workload.Plan and control technical resources to deliver projects on time and budget.Experience with Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, or Aviation design is desirable.Minimum Qualifications: Educated to degree level.6-10 years relevant experience.Chartered Engineer or nearly Chartered.Personal Qualities: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Previous staff management experience.Flexible approach with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.Enthusiastic, hardworking, positive outlook, and approachable manner.Well-motivated, willing to take responsibility, and able to work as part of a team or independently.About Us: At AtkinsRéalis, we put Environment, Sustainability, and Health & Safety at the heart of our business strategy.
