Senior Civil Engineer

Your New Company:

Your new company is a large, multi-disciplinary, multinational Engineering Consultancy with offices across Ireland that boasts a wide range of project types in its portfolio as well as roughly €2 Billion annual turnover worldwide.

Due to sustained growth in all sectors but especially the civil / structural realm, they are looking for Senior Civil Engineers to join their growing team in Ireland.

The team works principally in a BIM environment, constructing models in Civil 3D and Revit for coordination and connection with each discipline team in a collaborative common data environment (CDE). They deploy green infrastructure (GI) and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) designs to the maximum extent possible on our project, and combine the various core civil engineering aspects of a project and combine these into a single business offering for their clients, which is delivered by their dedicated Site Infrastructure team.

Your Qualifications / Experience:

The ideal candidate will be looking to further their career and gain invaluable experience within a friendly working environment and will have the following qualifications and experience:


Degree qualified in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years' experience within a consultancy environmentMust have chartered professional status, or similar recognised qualificationStrong site infrastructure technical design skills (surface water, foul, water, roads and carparks, earthworks, MEP services coordination)Responsible for producing drawings, specifications and reports to time and budgetAwareness of the Irish regulatory and planning framework, together with experience of managing site infrastructure projects through the planning processExperience of Liaising with Irish Water, Utility Companies and Local AuthoritiesAbility to technically lead and manage the design process on site infrastructure projects from conceptual layout to detailed design and constructionExperience of managing internal and external design interfaces e.g., architectural, structural, geotechnical, landscape, mechanical and electricalPassionate about driving digital delivery on projects and keeping appraised of latest industry developments around digital and BIMExperience of leading and directing teams in a digital/BIM environment, co-ordinating civil services with those of other disciplinesExperience with Civil 3D/Revit and other BIM softwareKnowledge of Navisworks and clash detection processKnowledge of Microdrainage or similar network modelling softwareExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and organisational skills What to expect in your new job: A multicultural and informal working environment where you can develop professionally by being part of a team who enjoy what they do.Opportunities for short or long assignments at offices and projects anywhere in the world.Employees are eligible for the Global Profit Share scheme, which is dependent on the firm's financial performance.Competitive performance-based salary growth.A strong corporate culture committed to its values: quality of work, holistic approach, humane organization, straight and honourable dealings, social usefulness and reasonable prosperity.Continuous training and professional development that will allow you to adapt to the growing needs of our clients as we embrace digital transformation.You will be expected to become a member of a relevant and necessary professional organisation.
