Location: The Exchange, Belgard Square North, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid working: Up to 3 days per week

ABOUT THE JOB The recently established Business Transformation team is responsible for the implementation of business process improvement projects in the CRU, and reports to the CRU's Director of Operations & Organisational Development.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Business Transformation Analyst is a positive and proactive individual focused on the effective and efficient delivery of business support services to the CRU. The role requires the ability to work closely with CRU teams to problem solve and document business requirements.
Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Business Transformation Analyst will be involved in a varied role working in a dynamic environment.
Manage and lead multiple phases of a project and/or multiple small projects of moderate scope and sometimes complex assignments.Understand, analyse and define business requirements through engagement with business process owners and review of existing processes.Facilitate workshops to support process mapping, requirements gathering and analysis.Map full business processes (as is) and develop future (to be) processes, and where appropriate Target Operating Models.Identify existing system bottlenecks and deficiencies, and devise, test and assist in implementing robust solutions to address any shortcomings.Identify areas for process improvement across existing ways of working - system, process or people changes.Be involved in projects across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from business case development to project execution and close-out.Liaise with IT team to establish the contribution that technology can make to business objectives and processes.Following engagement with business process owners, ensure all required policies and regulatory requirements are satisfied by any changes implemented.Where applicable, support the Manager with the design and execution of testing where required.Support the readiness phase of the project by working with business process owners to deliver updates to business processes and procedures and prepare training material, where required.Where applicable, support the Manager to ensure that all project documentation is created and maintained to a high standard i.e. Business Requirements Documents, Process Maps, Business Cases, Risk Log/Benefits Log/Action Logs.Take part in Operations and other Division meetings and contributing to other projects/activities as assigned by the Business Transformation Unit Manager.Carrying out such other functions as may be required from time to time to fulfil the business objectives of the CRU and as appropriate to the grade.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Essential Requirements Honours degree (minimum level 8 under National Framework of Qualifications), or higher qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as a Business Analyst (to include process mapping, capturing user/business requirements, running workshops and recommending solutions).Desirable Requirements Demonstratable prior experience and knowledge working with transformational projects within large complex organisations or a background in practical change management.Course or certification in Business Analysis, Business Process Management, Lean Six Sigma or project management.Experience of working on digital transformation projects in the public or private sector and/or experience of developing digital applications.Strong experience of using MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).THE PACKAGE *Starting salary of €58,318 Salary scale: €58,318 - €73,544 *Candidates should note that entry will be at the minimum point of the scale.The rate of remuneration may be adjusted in line with Government pay policy.Candidates should note that different pay and conditions may apply if, immediately prior to appointment, the appointee is a serving civil or public servant.Salary increments will be awarded annually, subject to satisfactory performance.APPLICATION PROCESS To apply for this full-time opportunity, candidates must submit an application form for this opportunity before the closing date for applications – (Monday, 7th October 2024, 12 pm - to be received not later than 12 pm).
