What You Will DoCreative Vision: Develop and articulate the creative direction for Star Trek Fleet Command, aligning it with the game's overall strategy and player needs.Gameplay Innovation: Lead all aspects of the design and balance of core gameplay loops and new features, ensuring they are fun, immersive, and aligned with high-level product goals.Leadership: Guide, support, and motivate a dedicated team of designers, cultivating a collaborative, innovative, and goal-oriented environment.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project leads across Art, Engineering, Product, and Production to deliver a cohesive and engaging player experience.Live Operations: Collaborate with the live operations team to ensure ongoing player engagement and retention through inventive content and feature updates.Player-Centric Design: Apply player insights and behavioural data to iterate and refine the game experience, ensuring it meets the expectations of a diverse, global player base.Commercially Aware Design: Balance the requirements of the service as a business with crafting a truly compelling game experience.Documentation: Own the creation and maintenance of detailed game design materials to ensure effective communication of ideas across departments.Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, integrating innovative practices and technologies into the game's development.What We're Looking ForExperience: 10+ years in the games industry, with substantial experience in leading creative efforts for mobile, multiplayer, and live-service games.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor creative teams, driving a culture of innovation and collaboration.Design Expertise: Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics, player engagement, and behavioural economics, particularly within the F2P mobile game space.
Experience in 4X titles and complex Economies is highly desirable.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly and effectively.Collaborative Approach: Ability to work
