A banking organization based in Dublin is looking for a number of experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to join their team. This is a hybrid position with a very strong remote component.
Candidates must have previous banking experience. Responsibilities: Work with development teams to ensure their requirements are met and they have a clear migration path to the new infrastructure.Support application development teams via enablement squads to ensure the platform is fit for purpose and develop the pipelines that streamline application delivery within the bank.Collaborate with Architecture and Design teams to ensure all services comply with bank policy and leverage the most from the deployed tooling.Required Skills: Candidates must have Development or Operational experience. Development Experience: Good skills in one of the main scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, and their test frameworks.Strong development background in languages such as Java, Golang, C, C#, with a good understanding of their test frameworks.Experience developing applications that involve the delivery and consumption of APIs.Exposure to one or more cloud providers (AWS / Azure / GCP) and comfortable provisioning infrastructure using the portal UI.Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and hands-on experience is a plus.Experience with Terraform code execution and debugging.Exposure to Docker and orchestration environments such as Kubernetes / OpenShift.Operational Experience: In-depth experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS / Azure / GCP) and automation of infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, etc. Certifications are nice, but hands-on experience is preferable.A thorough understanding of infrastructure management and provisioning in virtualized environments such as VMWare.Experience using configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef.In-depth experience with configuration management orchestration tools such as Ansible Tower, Chef Server.Thorough understanding of SSL & Cryptography and solutions for automation and management of SSL Certificates for applications.An appreciation for a test-first software development approach, ensuring no surprises at deployment time.To apply or find out more, please reach out at 01-947 6301 or ****** #LI-SO3 #CplTechnology22
